Hello! My name is Leah and I’m so happy that you stopped by my blog! I am very passionate about traveling and am lucky to be married to my best friend who loves travelling just as much as I do! I sincerely hope that my site helps you in some way cultivate your own passions. (Note: for my Project Evaluation consulting site, please visit me here).
To me, traveling is not just a way to see the world – it’s a way to live a much richer life through understanding, acceptance and, most importantly, love for all people.
I have a PhD in Global Governance, specializing in International Development and Human Rights. I’ve worked in the field of development for over 10 years and use this background as my toolbox for finding the best ways to really experience your host country in ways that are culturally-sensitive, open-minded, and knowledgeable. I have designed and run a university student internship programme that has taken my students to every continent on the globe (except Antarctic!)
I believe that experiential travelling isn’t just for the student, though. Whether you’re going on a weekend getaway, a two-week holiday, or a gap year programme, whether you’re leaving your country or just exploring a new city down the road, I know your time away can be richer, more fulfilling, and more educational with the practice of experiential travelling!
In all you do, may you impact the lands you travel as much as they impact you.
Happy travelling!
Leah
